SUPPORT US

Dear Friends and Well-wishers,

Re: Let us work towards better future of mentally ill.

Greetings from Maryknoll Nepal!  It is our pleasure to introduce ourselves as the only local NGO working in the area of mental health in relation to the treatment and rehabilitation of chronic mentally ill patients of this country (see attached brochure for information in detail).

Our main program is a residential rehabilitation facility at Nayapati (Sundarijal).  The center can accommodate 45 patients at a time.  We also run day care centers at Kathmandu and in Bhaktapur.  Besides, we conduct monthly mobile satellite clinics and other outreach programs inside and outside the valley.  Most of these programs run on charity basis (which are ongoing social welfare programs through out the year).   Thus, we always seek for donor agencies and interested individuals who could support the welfare of mental patients.

For this reason, we plan to start a local fund raising program.  This program is for all interested Individuals/Families, Institutions and Organizations.  Well-wishers donating Nrs.  1,000.00 or above (Rs.  2.73 a day) annually on regular basis shall be recognized as "FRIENDS OF MARYKNOLL NEPAL".  They will be honored with a Certificate of Appreciation and be listed in our mailing list.

We request you to help us support this noble cause.  Your little contribution could make a difference in life of a mentally ill person and the family.
