Available mental health facilities at present:

Government hospital:    01 (with 50 bed capacities)
A total of 210 beds for mentally ill patients are availabe in nepal
Only one local ngo working in the area of rehabiitation of mentally ill people.
Only 10 out of 75 districts have mental health facility
   
Various types of mental disorders prevalence in the genral population:
Psychosis: 1-2 %
Neurosis: 10 %
Depression: 4-6 %
Seizure disorder (epilepsy): 1 %
Mental retardation:  3-5 %
Alcohol use disorder  3-5 %
Narcotic and other substance use disorder: 0.5 %
Others (psychogeriatic etc.)   1 %
